Journey to Magnet Excellence Workshop: Save time and energy. Get organized to begin the Journey to Magnet Excellence™.

Magnet Model Overview Workshop: ANCC offers a similar tour and workshop program in conjunction with the annual National Magnet Conference.

Come early for the one-day Magnet Model Overview Workshop, attend the conference, then stay one extra day for tours of two Magnet hospitals.

Learn about the Magnet Model and associated components in this fast paced one-day overview workshop. The workshop is designed to give a broad overview of the Magnet Model and the components. Discover how to create a Magnet culture within your organization. This workshop will also help you integrate your nursing practice within the structure of the Magnet Model.

Workshops and Study Groups are held throughout the year to help prepare organizations interested in the Pathway to Excellence program. The workshops give an overview of the Pathway to Excellence program, the application process, self-assessment plan and strategies to help create a Pathway to Excellence work environment and details about each of the practice standards. If you are interested in co-hosting a Pathway to Excellence workshop at your organization contact ANCC at mworkshp@ana.org.

Consultation Options

  • Meet with one of our consultants while visiting the United States
  • Have a consultant come to your facility to meet with staff and nurse leaders
  • Have a consultant do presentations at your facility to educate on Magnet or Pathway concepts and application

Pathway to Excellence® Teleconference Series

The American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) is pleased to present a teleconference series to help prepare organizations interested in the Pathway to Excellence program. The teleconference series gives an overview of the evolution of the Pathway to Excellence program, goes into detail about each of the practice standards, and explains the application process. As the home of the Pathway to Excellence Program, ANCC has the most accurate and up-to-date information regarding this program.
